Every project I've worked on for the past 3 years has involved a REST API to some capacity. From designing the API with FastAPI to storing real-time validated data with SQLAlchemy to POSTing a market order based on historical data. I've learned to create reliable, hands-off workflows, handling auth, rate limits, and error recovery end to end.

Azure & Cloud
Developing in the cloud is where I see myself in the coming years. Starting with Microsoft Azure, I've began provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, identity, and serverless services. At my current position, I've created a Function App that uses GitHub Actions and blob storage to fire when a file gets dropped in. It then runs an ETL pipeline that pushes to CaseWare Cloud and SAP Concur.

All my projects involve data to some extent, and maintaining both the raw and transformed data is critically important. I've learned to validate data, protect against injection, and properly query. At my current position I've created a data validation engine for a bidirectional ETL pipeline as well as an internal enterprise application that aggregates data from 3 different APIs. Although not a pro, I can create responsive, accessible interfaces with semantic HTML and modern CSS. Using flexbox and grid layouts, mobile-first breakpoints, and a little JavaScript I can create websites like the one you are viewing right now. Using AI as a tool and not a solution is also a great way to quickly implement ideas before improving on them.

What I Do:

Learning the Ropes
Joined the team, learned the software, and began helping internal clients immediately. I learned about Azure, Entra (active directory), and admin portals, as well as how to troubleshoot the Microsoft 365 suite. I began troubleshooting accounting / tax softwares like QuickBooks and CCH as well as learned how to diagnose printer issues and use remote management software.

Data Matching & ETL Pipelines
After my initial onboarding I was quickly utilized for my coding skills. Given spreadsheets of incomplete filepaths and filenames I created a fuzzy match script to correctly match up the 25,000 rows with 99.8% accuracy saving over 80 man hours. This is also where I created my first production ETL automation that is still running to this day. It extracts excel data, runs it through a data validation engine, transforms it into the proper CaseWare Cloud payload format, and then loads it into the cloud.

Maintenance of Work & Studying
I continued back, learning more about the intricacies of our softwares and systems, to better troubleshoot issues. This is also where I began learning more about Azure, and the many services they provide / offer. I started looking into Serverless Functions and Enterprise Apps,

Internal IT Tools & Serverless Functions
Designed and shipped an internal IT tool that pulls data from various sources and aggregates it into a single application. It pulls data from Microsoft Admin, Entra, and Intune using Microsofts GraphQL, and security / network data from Unifi using a REST API. I also expanded on the CaseWare Cloud ETL pipeline from earlier and implemented it as a Function App using GitHub Actions. It now intakes data automatically when a file is dropped into a blob storage account, and ETLs it into both CaseWare Cloud and SAP Concur.

Database & Interface
Joined ClipRipper as a Python Developer and began laying out the ground work. During this stage I created the sqlite3 database that would handle all of the account information, statistics, and credentials. The data was pulled using YouTube Data v3 API and I immediately began working on the application interface for managing the software.
June
Video & Audio Editing
After getting the front and backend up and running, development on the application itself began. Whisper was used to extract transcripts which were then sent to DeepSeek to change up the phrasing. That transcript was then sent to Elevenlabs for a new voiceover. OCR was used to detect previously burned in captions, and FFmpeg and MoviePY were used to blur out and replace them. After slightly changing the hue, orientation, pitch, and zoom, the new video was ready for upload.

Account Management & Uploading
After dozens of videos were created based around the original, they were deployed across just as many primed accounts to maximize views, and give a proper a/b testing of which videos, voiceovers, and phrasings worked best. Although the summer ended and with that the project, I truly believe if we had more time to put into this, it would have been a software ad runners, and creators use to this day.

Learning the Craft
Sales is one of those things where you never stop learning. During my first year, I learned the product in and out as well as a 2 hour dynamic sales pitch based on objections and environment. I learned how to coordinate with others, create sales incentives, and run ad campaigns that would bring in more leads and inevitably more sales.
2021 – 2022
Hitting My Numbers
Found a rhythm and began consistently hitting monthly sales targets. I leaned hard into lead generation through referrals and cold outreach, earning company recognition for the volume of qualified leads I brought in while managing a full travel territory.
2022 – 2023
Building & Leading a Team
Grew from selling solo to helping build and manage a team, mentoring newer reps on the pitch and coordinating schedules across the territory, all while keeping my own numbers up. Three years here taught me discipline, communication, and how to keep a team moving toward a goal.

About Me
A little more about who I am and how I work.
I'm from Huntsville, AL, but am currently located in Tallahassee, FL where I work as an IT Technician / Automation Developer at Thomas Howell Ferguson CPAs. I love doing anything that's either physically or mentally challenging so naturally I love going to the gym and playing chess. In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, learning new things, building software, and reading. Currently I'm studying statistics and probability, so naturally game theory books are a must. I'm also always looking to increase my coding abilities by staying up to date with best practices and cutting edge software.
